KOYAMAKI Pitcher
NAKAGAWA Shuji
Each piece is carefully hand-carved from carefully selected solid wood, preserving the natural vitality and beautiful grain inherent in the material. Guided by the wood itself, every form emerges organically, resulting in a truly one-of-a-kind creation with no two pieces ever alike. Once an order is placed, the artist begins a dialogue with the wood, spending approximately two and a half months crafting the piece to completion. We hope you will also enjoy the time it takes for your special vessel to come into being, as part of the rich story behind welcoming a unique work of art created just for you.

Koyamaki is a beautiful tree with transparent resin and white bark. It also has a fresh and noble fragrance.
Koyamaki is characterized by its resistance to water, and is often used for bathtubs, bath tubs, and stools.
Recently, it is often used as hospitality vessels such as pitchers and ice pails because of its elegant color.
The simple and modern pitcher, with its silver cap, matches modern life, and has a tasteful appearance as a sake cup, pitcher, or flower vase. (When used as a flower vase, be sure to use a copper, bamboo, or glass vase.)
