The piece is made from porcelain clay shaped on a potter's wheel and decorated using the Icchin technique (a slip-trailing method). After applying colors, it is glazed and fired. Finally, an overglaze decoration is applied and fired again for the finishing touch.

Message

This piece depicts lotus flowers spinning in a daydream. It also expresses the appearance of a vessel adorned with decorative elements. By creating patterns that radiate outward from the center, I have given form to the flow of time and space.
