Founded 95 years ago, IWASA is a Japanese company dedicated to domestic manufacturing. It develops its own adhesives in Japan and uses high-quality, safe, and environmentally friendly materials. These zori sandals are comfortable, durable, and flexible, created through skilled craftsmanship and carefully selected materials. The sole incorporates two layers of cushioning materials with different hardness across the entire surface, and a non-slip rubber outsole for stability and ease of walking. Each pair is carefully handmade by artisans, achieving both excellent comfort and aesthetic beauty.

The middle layer of these three-layer zori sandals features Hakata-ori fabric with sumi-gyo (ink expression) patterns. Zori sandals do not have a fixed left or right foot. Wearing them interchangeably creates different visual expressions depending on usage. Alternating sides also helps extend the life of the sandals. The greatest strength of IWASA zori lies in their comfort. We hope they are enjoyed not only with kimono, but also with Western clothing and any style.
