日常のお弁当の美味しさを引き立てる逸品。竹ヒゴを規則的に編み込むことで、虎竹特有の美しさが際立ち、口部分は丈夫な竹表皮部分を外側に使う事で強度を高め、籐で丁寧に留めています。底部には力竹を配し、堅牢な作りを実現。通気性に優れご飯やおかずが蒸れにくく、使い込むほどに艶を増し、手に馴染んでいく風合いも楽しめます。

The bamboo strips are woven in a regular pattern, highlighting the distinctive beauty of tiger bamboo. The rim is reinforced by placing the sturdy outer skin of bamboo on the exterior for added strength, and carefully secured with rattan bindings. The base is reinforced with supporting bamboo ribs to ensure a durable structure.

With excellent breathability, it helps prevent rice and side dishes from becoming damp. Over time, the surface develops a deeper luster and a more comfortable feel in the hand, allowing the user to enjoy its evolving patina.

Yamagishi Bamboo, Inc.
Founded in 1894 (Meiji 27), Taketora is a long-established
bamboo company specializing in Tosa Toradake (Tiger
Bamboo), a rare bamboo that develops its beautiful striped
pattern only in the village of Awa, Susaki City, Kochi
Prefecture. We offer more than 1,200 bamboo products,
including bamboo baskets, bamboo strainers, and bamboo
charcoal products.
Bamboo is often called the only renewable natural resource
that can be continuously harvested and is gaining attention
as a sustainable material in line with the SDGs (Sustainable
Development Goals). Since 1985, Taketora has continued to
share its belief that “The 21st century is the age of bamboo,”
delivering products that are gentle on both people and the
environment.
