Dry Lacquer Iron Rust-Effect Plate

At first glance, it appears to be a metal object, but it is actually a plate made using the dry lacquer technique. All traces of iron rust and welding marks are expressed through lacquer. The piece is made to be extremely lightweight, so the contrast in perceived weight when held in the hand becomes particularly striking.
