YASUKAWA Mariko
Product Information
The piece is made from porcelain clay shaped on a potter's wheel and decorated using the Icchin technique (a slip-trailing method). After applying colors, it is glazed and fired. Finally, an overglaze decoration is applied and fired again for the finishing touch.
Message
I aim to express the appearance of a vessel adorned with decorative elements. By designing patterns that radiate outward from the center, I have given form to the flow of time and space.
