発芽するにんにく - sprouting garlic -

15度、30度、45度の角度で木を切断した後に元の形になるように貼り合わせる。

貼り合わせた木を回転させて削り出した後にもう一度バラバラにする。

大、中、小、3種類の大きさを作り強弱をつけながら組み合わせていく事で強弱の部分が影となり綺麗なラインが浮かび上がる。

生命力を強調する木目がしっかりとしている木と自由に伸びた竹の枝を使用して元気の源になるにんにくの形を表現した。

Wood is cut at 15°, 30°, and 45° angles, then reassembled to restore its original form.

After the assembled wood is rotated and carefully carved, it is separated once again.

By creating three different sizes — large, medium, and small — and combining them with varying intensity and balance, the contrasting sections cast shadows that reveal beautiful flowing lines.

Using wood with pronounced grain to emphasize vitality, together with freely extending bamboo branches, this work expresses the form of garlic, a symbol and source of energy and vitality.
