Product Information
The piece is made from porcelain clay shaped on a potter's wheel and decorated using the Icchin technique (a slip-trailing method). After applying colors, it is glazed and fired. Finally, an overglaze decoration is applied and fired again for the finishing touch.
Message
This piece depicts the experience of gazing up at a temple bell in a daydream. It also expresses the appearance of a vessel adorned with decorative elements. By designing patterns that expand outward from the center, I have given form to the flow of time and space.
