This is an art panel featuring the BOKUSYO pattern of Hakata-ori with the words 'irohanihoheto' written on it.
We commissioned Seikado, a company with 100 years of history in Osaka, to produce this double-sided panel after much trial and error.
Normally, only the front side of the fabric would be displayed as the artwork, but this panel allows you to also enjoy the reverse side of the fabric, where the colors are inverted.
With a thickness of 4 cm, the panel is self-standing and can be displayed without the need for nails or other fixtures on the wall.

As for my work, I don’t want to create pieces driven by my ego or impulsiveness.

Instead, I aim to create works that can deeply resonate with and linger in people’s hearts.
