This piece features the four-character idiom '無二無三' (Mu Ni Mu San).
Mu Ni Mu San means that there is only one, and nothing else can replace it. Originally a Buddhist term, it signifies that there is only one path to becoming a Buddha, with no other alternatives.

Though the characters '無二無三' are written, they are not meant to be read.
My intention was to create a unique ink space that exists nowhere else.
At first glance, it may seem purely black, but the distinctive world of gasen paper, ink, and brush unfolds.
Since the work is wrapped around the panel, you can also enjoy the expression of ink on the sides.
As for my work, I don’t want to create pieces driven by my ego or impulsiveness.
Instead, I aim to create works that can deeply resonate with and linger in people’s hearts.
