Born in Aomori Prefecture in 1985.
Learned about lacquerware through Kaga maki-e.
In 2004, entered the Department of Art and Crafts, Faculty of Art and Culture, Kanazawa Gakuin University,
and studied lacquering, maki-e, and chinkin techniques under Fumio Mae and Ouo Ichishima.
After graduating from university, entered the Wajima Lacquerware Technical Training Institute, where he learned various woodworking and lacquering techniques from Living National Treasure artists.
Subsequently, joined Nousaku, a long-established lacquerware company in Kanazawa City. After gaining experience in sales, he became independent as a Kanazawa lacquerware artist in 2016.
From 2023, Assistant Lecturer at Ishikawa Prefectural Wajima Lacquerware Technical Training Institute.
