[Announcement] New artwork is available

We are pleased to announce the release of an exquisite art series by the renowned lacquerware artist, SASAKI Gakuto. He was awarded the semi-grand prize in the Japan Wabunka Grand Prix 2022.

Sasaki skillfully employs a range of lacquer techniques to craft lacquerware, each boasting unique and captivating textures.

In this showcase, we present two of his earlier masterpieces: the Kanshitsu box [Snakeskin] and the Kanshitsu plate [Iron rust].

The Kanshitsu plate [Iron rust] artfully mimics the tactile essence of iron and rust through lacquer, while the Kanshitsu box [Snakeskin], much like Ether(award-winning work from 2022), elegantly captures the luxurious feel of leather.
